The city also has a train station which can be used to reach the place.

Day 1 

Arrive at Srinagar airport and explore the city 

 

Srinagar, the most serene city in Kashmir, is also its most famous tourist spot. The most efficient way to reach Srinagar is by air.Srinagar has good connectivity with the rest of our country.

Day 2 

Sightseeing Srinagar 

 

You can start the day by visiting Chashme Shahi Gardens and Pari Mahal Garden. All these gardens are located on the shore of Dal Lake. 

You can also visit the Shankaracharya Temple. The temple is also known as Jyesteshwara temple and is located on the hill of Shankaracharya. From this point you can also have a breathtaking view of the green hills and the 

mountains. You can also go skiing and horse riding. To experience local life, you can also visit the local market. 

Day 3 

Travel to Gulmarg and explore 

 

You can head to Gulmarg popularly known as “Flower Meadow”.It is located at a distance of about 51 km from Srinagar. The place is a must visit for any tourist during their trip to Kashmir. Straight from the brightly colored flowers to the snow-capped mountains, the place is a perfect paradise for any adventure seeker. You can also explore the local cuisine by checking out any local dhaba. 

Day 4 

Go to Sonamarg and explore the place 

 

You can visit Sonamarg which is about 80 km from Srinagar. Sonamarg is basically a hill station located northeast of Srinagar.Sonamarg is popularly known as “Golden Meadow”. 

Day 5 

Go to Pahalgam and explore the place 

 

You can leave the hotel and drive to Pahalgam which is about 31 km from Sonamarg.Pahalgam is popularly known as the “Valley of the Shepherds”. confluence of streams from the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake. 

Day 6 

Trip to Chandanwari 

 

Chandawari is located about 15 km from Pahalgam. It is a famous ice cream parlour. This place also serves as the starting point for the sacred Amarnath Yatra. 

Located in an elevated position, the place is an unusual destination to stop and enjoy a moment surrounded by nature.Visit the famous Sheshnag Lake which runs through this district. It is one of the ancient places of pilgrimage of the Hindus. 

Day 7 

Return to Srinagar 

 

you can return to Srinagar. Srinagar is located about 100 km from Chandawari. After check-in at the hotel, you can visit Nishat Bagh. The place is also known as the “Garden of Pleasures”.The latter is the larger of the two gardens. It has an impressive plantation of Chinar trees on one of its highest terraces. Both gardens were built on a symmetrical plan of central streams with fountains that divide a series of garden terraces. 

If you are interested in bird watching, you can visit Lake Manasabal. Then you can also visit the Hazratbal Mosque, the only domed mosque in the city. 

You can also visit the Jamia Masjid which is located in the middle of the old city of Srinagar. You can now be picked up from your hotel and depart for the airport/train station to return home.
